Meet The Team

Professional Tree Care was established in 1977 by Jim Mitchell. He holds a BS degree in Forestry from Oklahoma State University. Jim is a past Board Member of the Midwestern Chapter of the ISA, and an ISA Certified Arborist/Utility Specialist. Jim is a past board Member of the Oklahoma Urban and Community Forestry Council.

Jim is a member of the Oklahoma Arborist Association and International Society of Arboriculture.

With a forestry background, Jim looks at trees differently than other tree trimmers. He looks at a tree and asks himself, where is this tree going to be in 10-20 years? Will that tree be a healthy asset to the landscape or just a problem tree?

Zack Mitchell, Jim’s son, established Professional Tree Care of Edmond in 2002 and holds a BS degree in Forestry from Oklahoma State University. Zack is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture and the Oklahoma Arborist Association. Zack is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist #MW-4126A.
